Your feedback and ideas
Over the 100 years more than a million people worked for Woolworths stores and offices in the UK, with two million more in the USA and Canada. Perhaps you were one of them. Does our Museum reflect the Woolies or Five-and-Ten that you remember? Have we forgotten something or simply got part of the story wrong? We would love to hear your feedback or to share your memories. To share your views simply send us an email and you can be sure that your message will reach the author.

We regret that we do not have an archive or research department. The Museum is essentially a fan site, created by a volunteer. We are sorry that we cannot provide details of individual employees and their career histories.
Our bibliography page includes details of books, websites and other sources of information about Woolworths stores and people. You can use our new Zoom search engine (or indeed the big web searches like Google and Altavista) to locate pictures of individual stores or products anywhere in the website or gallery. We have consciously put a lot of new material into the site to help visitors to help themselves in doing private, family research. These features were added in response to feedback received by phone, post and email.
To sum up please send the following to our Museum Mailbox:
- feedback on the Museum and its contents
- ideas and suggestions for new Museum contents
- non-urgent requests for Copyright releases or high resolution images
The Museum Mailbox is not suitable for:
- mail about current and future strategies and operations of Woolworths, Woolworths.co.uk, Ladybird and WorthIt! These are brands of Shop Direct Group Ltd
- enquiries about present day Chad Valley, which is part of J Sainsbury plc
- family history enquiries
